We are a student and faculty led platform dedicated to bridging scholarship and practice in the fields of international law, comparative law, and transnational legal studies. Together, we foster an open and accessible forum for dialogue across borders, disciplines, and stages of legal education and practice.
The mission of CICL Currents is fourfold. First, it serves as a platform for the dissemination of scholarship, particularly work that engages with current events, emerging legal questions, and comparative perspectives that benefit from timely publication. Second, it functions as a resource for information about international, transnational, and comparative law, and different branches of these disciplines (Link to Resources). Third, it offers up-to-date information about further education and potential professional pathways, and other opportunities in international, transnational, and comparative law. Finally, our News and Events section provides information about the latest developments in international, transnational and comparative law, and forthcoming conferences, seminars, and webinars.
Through this combination of scholarly engagement and practical information, CICL Currents seeks to support the intellectual and professional development of Emory law students and the wider legal community.
