‘The London Conference on International Law 2026 is a biennial event dedicated to examining the state of international law at a time of growing global uncertainty. As international law is increasingly tested, the conference will bring together leading judges, practitioners, scholars and policymakers to provide high level insight into its role, resilience and future direction. The conference will explore the global rule of law, perspectives from the international bench, and the work of international law bodies and organisations, including the International Law Commission. It will examine recent developments in international law and consider the effectiveness and limitations of existing legal frameworks in addressing contemporary challenges. Through critical discussion and expert reflection, the conference will assess whether current international legal principles remain adequate to respond to evolving global pressures, or whether deeper fault lines have been exposed.’
